Government Subsidy Options
We understand that quality childcare is a significant investment. CDFD Childcare works with families who receive government childcare assistance. If you qualify for any of the programs below, we encourage you to apply — we’re happy to help guide you through the process.
Working Connections Child Care (WCCC)
Washington State’s Working Connections Child Care program helps eligible working families pay for childcare. The program is administered through the Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF). Eligibility is based on income, family size, and work or training activity. Families who qualify receive a subsidy that covers a portion of childcare costs, with a copay determined by income level.

Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP)
Additional childcare assistance may be available through seasonal or temporary programs offered by Washington State or King County. These programs can change year to year based on funding. Contact us and we’ll help you understand what’s currently available for your family.
Employer-Sponsored Benefits
Many employers offer Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) that let you set aside pre-tax dollars for childcare. Check with your employer’s HR department to see if this benefit is available to you — it can meaningfully reduce your out-of-pocket childcare costs.
How to Enroll
- Schedule a visit — Come see our classrooms, meet our teachers, and ask questions. We want you to feel confident in your choice.
- Complete the enrollment form — We’ll provide the paperwork during or after your visit.
- Submit required documents — Immunization records, emergency contacts, and any subsidy authorization.
- Set a start date — We’ll work with your family’s timeline to create a smooth transition for your child.
Spots are limited due to our low staff-to-child ratios. We recommend scheduling a visit as early as possible to secure your child’s place.
